First Year Seminar: Till Death Do Us Part or Until Something Better Comes Along

Welcome to Lamson Library!

We are here to help you succeed at Plymouth State!  If you have any questions about this guide, we want to hear from you!

Til death do us part or until something better comes along?

Marriage in America has been evolving through the decades. Data regarding marriage, cohabitation, and divorce are all over the map. So much so that scholars differ on the ability of humans to remain monogamous. As a society we are struggling to define what marriage is and who is able to participate in it. Together we will explore marriage and relationships in America and challenge you to thoughtfully and respectfully consider opposing viewpoints.
