Journals available online or in Lamson Library
Searching this journal list is the best way to find out if you have access to the full text of articles in a journal. A search will answer these 3 questions:
- Are the articles from the journal available in full text electronically from any database we subscribe to?
- Has the journal publisher allowed PSU access to the online version of the journal?
- Does Lamson Library own any physical copies of the journal?
For assistance or if you have problems, please contact the Reference Desk.

Seach does not seem to work - I just get message saying “user does not have required role.”
@Ben:
Thank you for commenting, and for pointing out that the error message you found could be _much_ more descriptive.
Some resources the library subscribes to are available only to current PSU students, faculty, and staff, and the message should explain that more clearly.
Is there any way on the new site to access the complete journal list?
Is there any way to browse the subject headings as on the old website?
To get a list of all our online and print journals, start with the Find Journals Link.
Type in the name of the journal in the Find box. Your results will be a listing of journals available either in Lamson Library or online.
@Kurt Schroeder:
I recently added links to browse journals by subject and title, you’ll find them above under the browse” heading.
