Faculty members may place any library materials or personal copies of items on reserve for their classes. Reserve materials may include books, articles, chapters, reports, scores, audio or video recordings, DVD’s, etc. in compliance with federal Copyright Laws. You may designate a Reserve loan period for two hours, one day, or three days.
Electronic Reserves:
If you would like reserve materials to be available to students within Blackboard, please indicate this choice on the form. We will scan the materials and insert them for you into Blackboard. Electronic reserves must also be in compliance with federal Copyright Laws.
To place items on Reserve, fill out a reserve request form and return it in person, campus mail (Information Desk, Lamson Library, MSC #47), or e-mail. After copyright compliance has been estalished, materials will be available within three days.
Deadlines for submitting materials are established each term:
Fall Semester - August 15th
Spring Semester - January 15th
Summer Sessions - May 15th
Materials submitted after these dates may not be available within the three day turn around due to the volume of material to be processed.
Please review current information on copyright issues related to academic use.
Questions about Reserves should be directed to the Information Desk at 535-2832.
