Cézanne Centenary

2006 marks the centenary of the death of French post-impressionist painter Paul Cézanne, whose influence over the 20th century was so profound that Pablo Picasso called him “the father of us all.”

Lamson Library celebrates his work and life with a display of books from our collection. The National Gallery is hosting an exhibition, ongoing until May 9.
