The University Academics Admission & Aid Athletics Campus Life Events Library

Welcome Alumni! Things to see in Lamson Library

  • You can’t miss it — construction of the Lamson Learning Commons! Read all about it on the posters located on the construction walls, or online at the library web site, www.plymouth.edu/library
  • Yearbooks — did you really have hair that long? (located on a book truck near the entrance, and also in the Spinelli Center — the yearbooks, not your hair!)
  • The Michael J. Spinelli, Jr. Center for University Archives and Special Collections — Through the generosity of Michael J. Spinelli, Jr. (’68), Lamson Library now has an archival program and a beautiful new research room
  • Places and Faces — Come to the Spinelli Center and browse old photos, looking for familiar places and faces.
  • Springtime at Plymouth — Check out this exhibit, outside the door to the Spinelli Center. Memories of the sunken garden, Clean Up Day, enjoying the beautiful weather at Plymouth State over the years.
  • Plymouth history on display — On the south wall of the computer cluster, final projects from Professor Marcia Blaine’s Local History class. Includes photos and interviews from 1930-1970.
