March 2009 marks the 40th anniversary of the gift of the Robert H. Browne Robert Frost Collection to Lamson Library. The children of Robert H. Browne donated the material to Lamson Library in 1969, and a reception was held on March 23, 1969. Browne corresponded with Robert Frost for a number of years, and their families became very close.

The collection includes the correspondence, rare photographs of Frost and his family in Bridgewater, NH and Franconia NH., first editions of some of his books, and more. An exhibit in Spinelli Archives features invitations, programs, news stories, and images from the collection itself.

The material will be on display until May.
