Lamson Learning Commons is pleased to present Iran 1967-1969: David McBride Photographs, a series of twenty-eight photographs depicting life in Iran during the late 1960s. David McBride, PSU Associate Director of Admissions, lived in Iran a total of 12 years. The first two years he served as a Peace Corps volunteer teaching English-as-a-second language at two middle schools in the northwestern town of Miandoab. Because of the earth-toned landscape, David turned to black and white film to capture the essence and personality of ‘The Neighborhood’ and its people. These photographs will be on display near the Lamson Learning Commons Information Desk from September 2nd – October 7th, 2011.
