Women’s History Month

Math Prof. Geneva Smith

In 2013, the theme for Women’s History Month is the sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics.  Spinelli Archives presents an exhibit on Plymouth’s own “Miss Mathematics”, Geneva Smith.  Unusual in her day, she taught mathematics here from 1924-1966.

Also, see the book display celebrating the life and work of Rachel Carson, pioneering environmentalist.
