The APA (American Psychological Association) style is always used in psychology and often used by disciplines grouped among the social sciences (anthropology, business, economics, education, political science, and sociology). Ask your professor if this is the appropriate style for your assignment.
Note: A new 6th edition of the APA manual was published in July, 2009.
However, many ERRORS were apparently present in the First Printing of the 6th edition. See the link below giving CORRECTIONS to these errors. A Second Printing is being produced (with the corrections included) and the library will be purchasing this ASAP.
