JOPERD

(Journal of Physical Education Recreation and Dance)

Journal of Physical Education, Recreation & Dance (JOPERD) is SHAPE America's largest, most frequently published, and most wide-ranging periodical. It is SHAPE America's cornerstone journal, providing information on a variety of health, physical education, recreation and dance issues. If you haven't seen JOPERD lately, take a minute to browse through it. SHAPE America's premier journal has undergone some recent changes. Dance Research Journal

CORD publishes the Dance Research Journal (DRJ) three times per year. DRJ is a peer-reviewed premiere publication for dance scholarship of international reach and includes articles, book reviews, and lists books received.  Published articles address dance history, theory, pedagogy, politics, science, ethnography, and intersections with cultural, gender, critical race, and diasporic studies among others. Folk Music Journal

The Journal features papers devoted to folk music, folk dance, and folk song, which in practice are interpreted in their broadest sense.
