In most cases, you can read the first 25 pages of a dissertation. The "Order a Copy" option does not link to the PSU Interlibrary Loan System. To request a full dissertation go to the Interlibrary Loan Page and fill out a request form.

Using a MyEBSCOhost Account

You have your own account to save (and find again!) those terrific articles you found. You can also save search terms, or create an alert for new articles available with your search terms.

To access your account:

Access an EBSCO database, like Academic Search Premier.
Click the Sign In link in the horizontal green menu along the top of your screen.
A yellow MY will appear on the EBSCOhost logo when you are logged in.
To access previously saved articles, click the Folder link in the horizontal green menu.

The library's primary scholarly database. Contains over 18,400 journals, over 16,300 of which are peer-reviewed, and over 8,900 are full text.

Interlibrary Loan

If you need a book or article that PSU does not have you can request the article through Interlibrary Loan.

This service is free to all PSU students, faculty, and staff.

Go to the Interlibrary Loan Page.
On the left side of the screen, under New Request choose the material type you want, then fill out the request form.
Articles are delivered to your interlibrary loan account in PDF format, usually in 2-5 business days.
Books are delivered to Lamson and can be picked up at the information desk in 1-2 weeks.
