An ebook is exactly like a print book on the shelf, but it's accessible electronically. Read ebooks while online, or, download the book to your computer, tablet, or phone for offline viewing. The pages can be printed, too.
Most ebooks from Lamson Library are supplied through EBSCO, and have unlimited user access, which means that multiple patrons can access the book at the same time.
Look for the word "ebook" in the brief item description, highlighted below:
The search results include a menu on the left side of the screen. Among other things, the menu lists the different formats of the items in the search results.
The "Book" section may display both print and ebooks by default, like this:
To view ebooks only, uncheck the print option:
