Governor’s Commissions: Commissions are formed to advise the New Hampshire Governor on important issues or policies.
Aging: Formed in 2019, this commission publishes annual reports, plans, and news to support the governor and general court in forming policy and plans related to aging populations.
Alcohol & Other Drugs: Established in 2000, this commission advises the Governor and Legislation on substance misuse prevention, treatment, and recovery services with a goal to reduce the impacts of alcohol and drug addiction in New Hampshire.
Disability: This commission advises the governor and general court and serves people with disabilities. Assistance to the public includes resources and guidance on service animals, accessibility, and disability & employment. This commission also oversees Client Assistance, the NH ABLE Plan, the Newsline for the Blind, and the Telecommunications Equipment Assistance Program.
Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking: Established in 2022, this commission focuses on preventing domestic and sexual violence and stalking and addressing the needs of victims.
Government Efficiency (COGE): Established in 2025, this commission focuses on cutting spending and streamlining government to create value for taxpayers.
Youth Advisory Council: Established in 2020, this commission focuses on providing a youth perspective on substance misuse and prevention in response to the opioid crisis.
